Cougar Baseball Family,
Due to this beautiful spring weather, we have decided to start our season tomorrow morning. We will meet at 1107 in locker room. Bring a bite, we may take a break and have a double. I really don’t want players or parents to drive out tonight if it’s not necessary. We will get after it tomorrow!!
Upperclassman practice begins Friday night March 2nd at 6:07pm.
Freshman practice will begin on Saturday. Coach Gray will send an email with specifics.
Dear Cougar Baseball Family,
The hour is almost upon us! A few reminders ahead of the start of the season. We will have our first workout on Friday March 2nd from 607-857pm. We will let them know about Sat on Friday night.
Also, I have been receiving ad and Myrtle money. Please send any ad copy directly to the gmail account on ad sheet. Myrtle money is due by March 15th. All returning seniors, returning V letter winners or any player who attended last years trip are already invited. Any ad after the first goes directly towards your trip. Please let me know now if your son cannot attend. Trip is not mandatory. I need to cancel rooms by the 15th if needed.
We will have a booster club meeting on Tuesday March 13th and a Myrtle Beach meeting on Thursday March 15th.

Dear Cougar Baseball Family!
Happy New Year! I hope this letter finds you and your family well. I wish everyone a healthy and happy 2018. For many reasons, I am very excited for 2018!
Here is a quick reminder and some information about the upcoming season. A mandatory, informational meeting, for ALL levels will be held on Tuesday,January 23rd in LH 1 at 2:40pm. The meeting should take about 45 minutes. I will be asking ALL returning seniors, ALL returning 2017 Myrtle Roster players and ALL returning Varsity letter winners to stay for 15 minutes after the meeting to get our 2018 fundraising started. We will ask each player in the program to sell ONE ad in our annual Cougar Baseball Book and to send out 20 emails for our SNAP! Fundraising campaign. The ads won’t be due until after March 2nd.
Also, the season will begin on Friday, March 2nd for all levels. For the 25th time, the Cougars will be traveling south to Myrtle Beach, SC for the start of our season, April 2-7, 2018. Currently, all RETURNING seniors, RETURNING Varsity letter winners and players who went on last year’s trip are automatically invited on this year’s trip. The trip is NOT mandatory. If your son cannot attend for ANY reason let us know as soon as possible so we can ask someone else. We take 24 players and 4 managers.
Players who fulfil any of the above criteria and plan on going, can start to fundraise for the trip now. As previously, every player is asked to sell one ad for the program. Any ad sold past the first one will be directly applied to your son/daughter’s trip. The total cost for the week is $550.00. The program will consume $25/player.
We will have a booster club meeting in March as soon as all three teams are announced and then a Myrtle meeting very soon thereafter. Again, I look forward to seeing you all this year and thank you so much for supporting Cherry Hill East Cougar Baseball!!
Dear Cougar Baseball Families,
I hope this letter finds you and your family doing very well. I hope you all had the opportunity to spend time with your family over the holiday weekend. We can never spend enough time with the people who matter most in our lives. We tell the players after almost every practice to “love your family more!!”
The year seems to be flying by and baseball season will be here before we know it. We began winter workouts two Mondays ago at Colossal in Voorhees. We are off to a good start. Workouts are 10 dollars a player for two hours, trainers included. In order to keep cost per player down, the program is picking up the remaining $1,500 for the winter.
We will be having our big informational meeting on the last Tuesday in January. Practice for all three levels starts the first Friday in March. We will be attending Myrtle Beach again this year, more information to come.
As many of you may now by know, I missed most of last season due to a severe illness. Although it wasn’t planned and everyone who stepped in did a fantastic job in my place, the season wasn’t indicative of how organized we are on a year in, year out basis. To the current sophomore parents, I look forward to meeting all of you this year. Last year may have fallen short of your expectations and I assure you that this year will run much smoother. I am very, very excited for the upcoming baseball season for many reasons!!
Please have a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year! I look forward to seeing everyone soon!
Coach Erik Radbill
