Dear Cougar Baseball Families,
I hope this letter finds you and your family doing very well. I hope you all had the opportunity to spend time with your family over the holiday weekend. We can never spend enough time with the people who matter most in our lives. We tell the players after almost every practice to “love your family more!!”
The year seems to be flying by and baseball season will be here before we know it. We began winter workouts two Mondays ago at Colossal in Voorhees. We are off to a good start. Workouts are 10 dollars a player for two hours, trainers included. In order to keep cost per player down, the program is picking up the remaining $1,500 for the winter.
We will be having our big informational meeting on the last Tuesday in January. Practice for all three levels starts the first Friday in March. We will be attending Myrtle Beach again this year, more information to come.
As many of you may now by know, I missed most of last season due to a severe illness. Although it wasn’t planned and everyone who stepped in did a fantastic job in my place, the season wasn’t indicative of how organized we are on a year in, year out basis. To the current sophomore parents, I look forward to meeting all of you this year. Last year may have fallen short of your expectations and I assure you that this year will run much smoother. I am very, very excited for the upcoming baseball season for many reasons!!
Please have a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year! I look forward to seeing everyone soon!
